Kaitilina,
Have you toured the Hall of Fame yet?
There are some great inspirational stories about some of our long-term quitters.
Happy reading!

And Phil, who am I going to sit with! I've also read about that and the sooner you quit, the sooner the body starts its healing. I see kids smoking that are 14 (I know they get them from their parents). I just want to walk up to them, stomp the cig and then smack them aside the head and tell them to wake up. But I wont. Instead, I am hopefully going to join you in the champagne!! (ps I'll buy my own Mr Ed cause that is how I feel - Its MINE!!)
Hugs
Kim

Monica & Phil,
Would love to share with you and I'm usually a generous sort, but in the case of Champagne - IT'S ALL MINE!!

Hi Phil,
Yes it's good news, but at the same time, we don't have to wait 5 years for everything!
Within a week, the skin looks healthier and we look younger. Perhaps that 'grey skin' look is rather ageing?
Anybody out there (like me) used to have a permanent cough? Still got it?
Did you used to get chest pains and worry what they were?
I can now chase Mrs Ed around the house without feeling breathless!
Today Mrs Ed and I have a day off work and I'm going to spend my week's cig money saved on a champagne meal. Celebrating anything? Not really, apart from the fact that I don't smoke!
all the best
Mr Ed :)

Phil,
The bottle is empty and the Horse is happy!
(Mrs Ed tasted it for me before I guzzled it)

Members,
There are more facts, stats and reasons not to smoke then there is to smoke. I always like to mention a member who has almost house bound with illness and smoked quite a bit. The choice was made to try and quit and now this member is out and about and living an active life and still quit. The member was 70!
It can be done!
Keep Strong,
Josie
