Anyone feel confused all day?

my fears? ohh gees im not sure. My trial with panic came and (mostly) left without any particular triggers, except maybe leaving the house during the worst of it. (Id get panic attacks if I left to get a pack of smokes.) Me now? eeeh I still have some free floating anxiety along with a nice case of depersonalization. Hopefully that will slowly fade over time like the anxiety. I feel like its fading at times then it seems to come back and I feel like Im not getting eny better.. so... Im still in the process of recovery. However Im not really sure of the exact nature of my fears was when i was getting my panics... maybe fear of fear or fear of going nuts.. i dont know :) regards, Ben

I had my first panic attack when I was 6 years old at my first communion. I went through middle school and high school relatively panic free. After that I went into college and started working full time and they returned about 2 months ago. I've tried paxil and zoloft but I came off both because I found that they did more harm than good. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm doing my best to hang in there. Thanks alot for posting an entry back, it's nice to hear someone with something similar. Have you completely recovered from your fears? Take care Dennis :)

perhaps. My first panic attack shook me up quite a bit. it turned my entire world upside down. in the month that followed my first attack, yeah I suppose I was confused.. but maybe not to the extent that you were. I can tell you that for the first month I wasnt eating anything because I was too nervous to and I lost 15 lbs in about 3 weeks. So in a sense yea my mind was confused:) It was pretty shaken up . Also my mind appeared to be in a state of constant overdrive... spirialing itself into my panics. If I hadnt have gone to a doctor and found out it was mental(I thought I had a physical disease) Im completely positive I would have been agoraphobic in 2-3 months. I had been getting panic attacks after abuot 15 minutes if i went out for a drive.. and it took me a month after i had my first one to see a doctor about them. How long ago have you had the first attack of panic? regards, Ben

Since my panic started, I've been sucked into an agoraphobic state. The entire day, I don't do much of anything, besides watch TV. Although even that is sometimes a chore. I'm constantly confused, depressed and I have no choice but to sit at home because nothing helps to distract me. This has taken over my life and I'm a pretty strong person. Has anybody gone through this and/or still going through this? I'd like to hear from someone else if they are so we could help one another out. Thanks for anyone that responds. Dennis
