I mean, I get up and do what I need to do but my mind is still muddled at times and I'm tired all the time.
Much longer? My doctor said everyone is different, I know, but I hate this part so much.
Thanks in advance.
Marie

Marie,
I'm sure everyone is different. I finally felt more alert and like my old self on about day 12. Although I had a sinus infection all during heck week and with all the crud in my head, it made me feel even more off balance, out of whack, and foggy. I just tried to keep my mouth shut (not talking) as much as possible, so nobody would notice that I wasn't "really there"! I was like you thinking... I hope I don't have to feel this unfocused and idiotic forever! It will get better. :)

Hiya Marie,
Just came from suggesting the exact same thing to Jan.. I vote you lay down and nap,, or take your remote, get all comfy cozy and watch a movie or some t.v. The body needs to heal..
You'll feel better soon.

FFM,
Unfortunately there is no definite answer as you said, everyone is different.
The only thing I can recommend is to sleep when you need to. Your body heals itself the most when you sleep.
Hang in there. This will pass.

Marie....how long? no one can answer that one. This is a time to be especially GOOD to yourself.....treats....time to yourself...eating well, with plenty of healthy snacks....plenty of rest, with naps if necessary....and the muddled mind is just part of leaving nicotine....your mind will finally clear and you just may find yourself able to concentrate better than ever before!
so just hang right in here.....the part you have already done is by FAR the worst part!
