Well I just took a hot shower. I feel better but still want that cigarette so bad. But i'm going to bed now. There's nothing I can do about it anyway. I made sure I threw away every cigarette I had and I live very far from convenience stores. Good night and good luck everyone.

Oh boy.. I'm getting ready for bed and guess what? I don't have any sleep aids. I suffer from insomnia. My poor hubby had to run to the store to get benadryls. :(

I did just fine. I took 2 tylenol pm's and went to sleep. I woke up this morning feeling angry because I dreamed that I was smoking and having a beer. I don't even drink beer, wtf. I even scolded my husband to pull it together because he couldn't put a contact in his eye. I out the patch on and it's starting to work through my system. I feel a bit better. Rachel's Quit Stats Since Sunday, September 17, 2006, I've been smoke-free for: 1 Days, 11 Hours, 14 Minutes, 41 Seconds. I have saved $5.52 by not smoking 29 cigarettes. By not smoking I have added 2 Hours, 48 Minutes, 19 seconds. to my life expectancy.

Keep strong Hopeless, it does get better. There will be more times that you will think what the heck am I doing? Just remind yourself that this is the right thing to do and you are a strong enough person to do it. I think everyone eventually finds something specific that will help them thru the rough times. It can be anything from gum to candy to sunflower seeds to walking to straws. I started with straws but now it's Cream Savers, I just love those things. You will find what works best for you.
