feeling extra lazy

hey Kat, I told hubby last night he had to get up w/kids. Because my reward to myself was to sleep in this morning. I visited family this week was up with them at seven every morn. The whole experaince stressed me out. I did not smoke. So this morning I stayed in bed to 11am. It was fantastic. So what if I when the lazy award. ;) I was drained, and needed to rest and take time for myself. If you are feeling tired, then rest. It is your body telling you what you need. listen. House work, duties and chores will always be there. You are #1 so take care of yourself. I found that the first days of quiting is almost unbareable when you are tired. I know this is my 3rd go this summer. The first 2 times did not make it past a week. I feel alot of that was becuase I was tired. This time I have made extra time to ensure I get plenty of rest. So far so good. Almost on 3 weeks. Take care of yourself. Welcome end of Summer Quiter. Hi all, I have been feeling really tired and just out of it so far today. I am on the patch and feeling ok, just no energy. I have been walking with my boyfriend and drinking lots of water and such so its probably just the toxins leaving my body. although, I would imagine that by this point in my quit, 8 days, that the toxins would be flushed out. I know that I am still getting nic from the patch but it has never made me feel so sleepy before. anyone else having this lack of energy issue??? I was cleaning my house in a half asleep state..lol. kat

be sure to eat properly....and lots of snacking is ok too. Your blood sugar goes on a funk when you quit nicotine....keeping it level with snacking will help.....remember not all sugar...protein is good and rest when you are tired....be GOOD to yourself....it will pass! katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1696 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 67,853 Amount Saved: $9667.2 Life Gained: Days: 221 Hrs: 6 Mins: 17 Seconds: 34
