Josie-
I will reward myself with some shopping this next weekend. For some reason I cannot make up my mind on what I want for a reward??? I am just trying to take care of me and realize that I need to take it easy this next few weeks and deal with not smoking.
Never thought I would make it but here I am Monday and smoke free!!! The weekend was not too bad, just alot of tootsie rolls...hopefully I will not turn into a big tootsie roll!!
I love not smelling like an ashtray!!! My hubby is still smoking one a day..just cannot give it up yet. It does not bother me to be around smokers.
I am so proud of myself, I can do this...I have to!!!!!
Thanks everyone!! I tried to quit about 6 yrs ago...but this quit seems better than the last. I have my moments but I do not want to smoke.
I always thought it would be just horrible to quit. It is not easy but the benefit of not smoking is soooo much better. I have smoked 20yrs over half of my life, I am 35. I need to be patient with myself and learn how to deal with life...and take a deep breath, which feels great now!!!
Hubby is a smoker who is trying to quit too. I used that as an excuse, "we will kill each other". And we are both still alive..so far.
Good stuff. It does get easier. You have made it threw hell. Welcome to the other side. hahe
