Hi again all. Thanks for your responses and your support. I truly appreciate it. I am getting all my tools ready and am reading lots, getting my mindset ready. I refuse to let "hell" week happen. The last time I quit, "hell" week wasn't as bad as what some have experienced; so I know if I can make it through those first three days, It will be smooth sailing from there. I am so ready to be a non-smoker again. I loved how I felt and smelled! I also loved having that extra money in my pocket! I've got my rewards lined up and am ready to get back to where I was not too very long ago. Thanks for being here and I look forward to be back among the living! Hi again, After a pretty good quit of over 150+ days, I started smoking again. I know getting angry isn't going to solve anything but getting back to my quit will. I won't get into the full details of why I blew my quit...afterall, it's nothing but excuses. Lets just say that my husband and I were heading to the vet to have our dog put to sleep and well, we used that as an excuse to smoke. Anyway, I'm ready to get back on the horse and try again. I'll be here alot over the next few weeks as I get past hell, heck, blah, etc. etc. weeks. Thanks for being here! You can do it Janet. All that matters is that you quit. Don't beat yourself up. Just get going again. I went 7 months and decided a cigar sounded like a fine idea and it wouldn't bother me -WRONG.....nic addict, nic addict nic addict. However, perseverance and I am a non-smoker. An ex-smoker. It took me time to get geared up to total commitment/abstainment but it is done. Look over you tools here and decide to do it! Hey Janet, I'm really sorry to hear about your dog - I know what dear friends they are. But the good news is that in a couple days you'll be back on the non-smoking wagon and we are here to help! You know what you are doing and you know what you are up against and so pull out all your tools and get your rewards ready. Welcome back.
