SUGAR CRAVINGS ~

for 18 år siden 0 4 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Why don't you try sipping supar free hot chocolate with marshmallows? another yummy is sugar-free chocolate pudding with whipped topping... maybe these will help ease the sweet craving-carob is like chocolate but has soothing properties-helps calm you down. I agree with earlier post about quitting and increasing ovearall health with lifestyle changes. It's HARD, everyday, but just do it one day at a time and take care of yourself. evernight before bed I eat HUGE amounts of ice cream, I always am used to smoking a lot with hubbie in evening..... so now we do that, during day I try to eat healthy, but you have to indulge yourself a little!! okay then, have a good day! -C My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 188 Amount Saved: $36 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 9 Seconds: 53

Shaila, They do put suger stuff. Chocolate, pinapple juice, caramel. That list goes on. I like the jello puding idea and jello. Tasty yet very few calories. Maybe you should also just surrond yourself with fruit and other healthy snacks. I have been drinking choc milk(Nesquik has more vitimans and calcium) when I need a suger fix. Try maybe to eat healthy snacks when craving, then at end of day reward youself with something yummy. I was with you yesterday, made brownies sat in kitchen last night. I ate them all. agh lol End Of Summer Quiters Grace

I'm having the same problem and I'm diabetic. I was doing better staying off the sugar before I quit. And I don't really understand what is going on. There's a part of me that feels light I'm using sugar as a reward. You know, like I now just have a right to it. But I'm not sure. The day I quit I decided to try to take care of my overall well being. I've never really been the healthiest person but I started taking a multi-vitamin designed for women, vitamin b-6 to help with possible depression and something called blueberry greensforce. The latter is mixed in with fruit juice and does all sorts of fantastic things for your digestive tract as well as increasing mental alertness and energy levels. I've been doing moderate exercise and drinking at least 3 liters of water per day. I think focusing on my overall well being has helped avoid using unhealthy food as a substitute. Also, I wonder if you are a bit dehydrated and misinterpreting that for a food craving. That actually used to happen to me all the time before I quit smoking. Just fruit for thought. Hi all, apparently the tobacco companies put some king of sugary stuff in cigarettes now, I think also in the filters so when you quit smoking you want the sugar, sure plays a number on you doesn't it? Drinking 8 glasses of water a day is recommended. Try chewing sugarfree gum and mints and chewing on a straw. Keep the sugary things for a special reward, most importantly keep quitting one day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 66 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 996 Amount Saved: $264 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 18 Mins: 15 Seconds: 15
