Thank you for that response. Do you drink any alcohol when taking Buspar because some reports I read are that you shouldn't have any and others are that it should be taken in moderation.
On the subject of you taking it with Zoloft...I believe that some anti-depressants can cause anxiety and in fact I think that is the problem that I have had and never realised it. The Buspar, taken with Zoloft then reduces the anxiety so maybe thats why you aren't noticing anything yet...you just don't realise how bad the Zoloft would otherwise make you feel.

I take buspar and am still waiting for a good response. I already take zoloft and the buspar is just supposed to work with the zoloft. Anyway, a friend of mine swears by buspar because it's nonaddicting and she only takes it when she needs it, ie "that time of the month." Besides that she doesn't even take anything else, so.....hopefully it will work.

After taking Paxil and Cipramil over the last 5 years I am sick of taking the drugs with all the side effects including weight gain...I'm not even sure they have helped me because I am more anxious than ever and have developed fears I never had before.
My doctor has suggested taking Buspar alongside coming off Cipramil and I wondered if anyone had some encouraging stories for me....discouraging ones welcome too.
For example..side effects etc.
