Hey Kay, one thing at a time. Oh and by the way, I had those moments even before I quit smoking but hey I am woman it's my prerogative...HEAR me roar!!!! LOL Really take some YOU time, it helps and you deserve it. Always remember things look better later. You have come to far and hey we don't care if you want to be a b&tch, we will be here no matter what. You can even yell or scream on here and it won't scare us one bit. Deep breaths when you feel you are going out of control and really concentrate on them. :o) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 39 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 396 Amount Saved: $78 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 20 Mins: 36 Seconds: 3

You are definately not alone. I call myself Sybil at home (movie with Sally Fields). It comes and goes so fast. Hang on tight as the rollercoaster will hopefully get smoother as we go on. I have a great support team at home. They expected the ups and downs and generally ignore my moods swings. They tell me they would rather have me living and moody than dead and gone. Hang on tight as we go up and down!!! I don't think mine will pass---my family took a survey and decided I had always been a @%&*h. :gasp: I remind them that now that I have quit smoking, I will live longer and make their lives miserable into old age! :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 66 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,340 Amount Saved: $528 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 20 Mins: 54 Seconds: 11

Hang in there Kay... .and if you're a gym or sport person, i've found that the constant eating I do is nicely balanced out by the increased lung capacity I have for extended cardio workouts. hope that makes sense. eat good and work out hard, but most importantly, don't smoke! tim My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/24/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 66 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,004 Amount Saved: $524.7 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 14 Mins: 17 Seconds: 28

what do you mean at first ? If provoked i can be a real b#@%d, but then again they probably deserved it. They will just have to get used to it, your emotions are currently being thrashing about cos you're getting over some serious brain washing. Physical addiction was just a tiny wee part of our quits, the brain & our emotions need to be re-programmed to enable us to stay non-smokers. keep cleaning that house & or exercise. Do you mean a regular b***h or a Super King Kamaya-maya B***h? I think it's normal that early in a quit to feel some tension - Take some deep breaths, take a walk, relax - you don't smoke anymore to cope with life's little gotcha's so you need to find other ways to deal. Exercise will help, so will self talk. Learn the signs that you're getting ready to lash out and talk to yourself. Ask yourself what's got you going and ask yourself how you're going to deal with it. It's okay to give yourself some time. Anger is a part of a lot of quits. How you deal with it is really up to you. You can't give it to someone else, it's yours. I wish you luck - I think you'll be fine, you want to talk about it and that's a really positive thing.
