Everything is going well. I'm eating a little more than usual. What is nagging me, however, is the thought of Nicodemon. I keep expecting for him to creep up to me, and I'm afraid that I won't notice, or be ready for him.

Thanks everyone. Was smoking two packs a day and went cold turkey. Then read about someone who slipped and seemed to have enjoyed the cigarettes. I needed to make a phone call and buy some more fruit pops after that. There should be a special section for slips.

Do you have your coping skills in place (you should have done them in your Quit Program Tools)?
Nicodemon, junkie thinking, etc. ... yes be aware of it so that you are able to recognize it and get rid of it. Junkie Thinking/Nicodemon can and will ruin a quit, but only if you are not prepared.
Nicodemon does not come knocking at my door anymore. And if he ever decides to he best be prepared to lose because I'm armed with knowledge and am prepared and more than willing to kick his arse from here back to the hell in which he came.
Don't be paranoid. Just arm yourself with knowledge and be prepared.

bgaineshunter,
We do have a special section for slips and how to avoid them. Slips do happen as this is a learning experience for everyone. I will search for the thread and move it if it is in the wrong section.
Stay focused on maintaining your quit. Do some research on the negative effects that smoking has on your body. Make a list and add all the symptoms you had during your withdrawals. Re-read the list when you crave.
You did a great job utilizing those fruit pops as a coping mechanism! Keep up the great progress and congratulations on 15 days!
