Thanks so much guys. I feel the patch is starting to wear off just a bit. God I hope I don't feel like I felt yesterday when I 'tried' to quit smoking. But I don't think so. If worse comes to worse, I could always go to bed early.
gonnadoit. My husband is the best thing that ever could have happened to me. Today he brought me a bunch of purple flowers he ripped off from the forest when he was walking the dog. lol.
I smoked my spposedly last cigarette last night. My husband got up early and bought me the step one patches.
Suprisingly I feel ok so far. Missing the taste a little but not a huge deal.
I think i'm going to miss drinking more once a few days pass. I'm trying to quit drinking at the same time. I was a borderline alcoholic.
Wish me luck.
Sure hope your not taking on too much at one time. Good luck though!!! My hubby is a smoker and an alcoholic, figure I'll get myself under control then deal with him,,lol.

Hopeless Smoker,
See this part of your day as an opportunity to start trying out different coping mechanisms such as gum, ice water, toothpick, distractions...
Keep strong!
