This may sound kind of funny but I keep hitting curbs!! I drive a mini van which I have drove for many years now. I use to never hit curbs, my dad always drilled it into my head. But since Monday when I quit smoking and started on the patch I have went over 2 curbs while turning a corner and have rubbed my tires on them 3 times while parking. It is so strange. I mean it is nothing serious and I don't feel different when I'm driving but something is going on. what do you guys think? I wonder if it is just that my mind is somewhere else because smoking and driving went hand in hand to me. I had a memory problems my 1st few days just could not remember if I turned off that, what I just did. It is kind of like being in a fog but it will get better. PS - they say that as your nerves heel.. that your depth perception improves form when you were a smoker, so I guess that it makes soem degree of logical sense to think that it could get worse while you are heeling. If I turned my head fast, or when i got out of the car.. I had to reballance myself because I was spinning. I felt way spaced out all of the time - dumb, ditzy, and I was dizzy... sometimes didn't think that I should be driving. kypalak, it is probably exactly what you suspect. I know I felt a little 'off' the first two weeks of quitting. It effects us in our day to day activities. Things will probably level out for you soon. Kypalak, Some quitters experience a decrease in attention span and concentration. This should pass soon, just your body readjusting. Drive slow, wear your seatbelt and tread yourself to a cab and a doctor' visit should it worsen. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hmm, I've not heard that one before but at 3 days you can definitely feel zapped. I'll just add to what Danielle said...
Drive slow, wear your seatbelt and treat yourself to a cab and a doctor' visit should it worsen.
....and let us know what roads you'll be on :8o: ;p Congrats on 3 days!
