Getting worried that it has been TOO easy so far...

for 18 år siden 0 772 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Shannon I find the first 3 days fairly easy, by end day 3 I am going up the wall. I always thought that the reason for that, is that it takes 3 days for nicotine to leave your body, which is why it is only at the end of day 3 that my body starts schreeching out for it. I dont know if anyone else has experienced the same? At 10 pm it will be 36 hours. The first day stunk, day 2 was so much easier, and today it was like I never smoked at all. I'm still coughing a little and am a tad more tired than normal...but I think I'm just overanalyzing and freaking out that one of these days it's all going to hit me at once. Is this somewhat normal? I mean, I'm certainly not complaining BELIEVE ME...I just hope I'm prepared for if it gets bad! Thank you everyone...I'm a day further and still doing ok. I just keep thinking about my lil Benjamin Elijah growing inside me and the benefits he has already reaped. Maybe that's why it's been easier this time? Whatever the reason, I am thankful! And I am thankful for you guys too. The last time I quit it was for 2 years...what on EARTH made me start again?!?!?! :quest: My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 85 Amount Saved: $14.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 0 Seconds: 28

Not everyone had horrible withdrawals. Everyone is different. If you do not get them ... woohoo you are one of the lucky ones. If you do get them ... refer to Shevie's post ^^... heh! Hi, Shannon. It's not unusual for people to go through the first few days easily. It does seem to take some folks' bodies a bit longer to figure out the nicotine is missing. If it does get bad, focus on these things: It is temporary. It will pass. You are not dying (regardless of how it may feel :8o:). Smoking will not fix it, but only make it last longer. Congratulations on almost 36 hours smoke-free, Shannon. That is awesome. :) Keep up the good quit.
