Hi, Duckie.
Glasses were a reward for me, too. I didn't realize it at the time, though. I've aways used the cheap $10 drug store reading glasses because I would carry them in my shirt pocket along with my cigs. Because the cigs took up most of the space, there was no room for a case, so they got all scratched up rather quickly. Especially when they'd fall out onto the concrete.
After I'd quit smoking there was all this space in my shirt pocket, plenty of room for a glasses case. So I got a fancy set of glasses with the progressive lenses so I can focus from up close to far away just by tilting my head. Now at work I'm not having to put them on and off so much since I can now do things with them that I used to have to use the microscope for. Much better! :)
Today I got John Mellencamp and Joan Baez CDs. (See, I do practice what I preach)

Duckie,
Rewards are essential for one's quit! You can use them as a goal to look forward too. Make sure you save the big one for the grand milestones, such as one year or 6 months.
It can make a difference :)
Keep Strong,
Josie
