i thank you for this post!
The longest i have ever not smoked for is around 2.5 months.
So I thought that if i quit now then I would be very clean from smoking by the time i went to North Cyprus August 28th.
Reading this posts, has enabled me to be realistic, that i will only be on day 77 or something. Now I would have thought that the worst of the smoking thing would be completely behind me. Now that i know, that actually it might not, which means i can prepare to make sure that this time i DONT FAIL.
Many thanks
Niks x

Sunflower,
Hang in there! If you read through the forum, you'll find a lot of quitters experience strong cravings around the 100 day mark. It's time to get back to basics, use the tools that got you through those first few weeks.
Maintain your quit now and it will all be downhill from here.
Keep persevering,
Danielle

Ok Sunflower, read the postI had in this section!! WE are going through this TOGETHER not alone. All of us that is. I'm still fighting that really bad craving from earlier but I'm here and redirecting my craving. I'm about to go to bed and trying to focus on my 1 week goal/reward of being able to spend ALONE time with my hubby (hard to do that in my household so its a wonderful reward). I take it second by second, not minute by minute. Its tough but I'm the one who brought the challenge on in the first place an I want to be the one who finishes this challenge against the nicodemons in First place. I keep looking at pictures of my kids and keep telling myself that I want to see them grow up. Hang in there and know you have strong friends in here (with willpower to back you up)

Hi Sunflower.
Please, Please don't take that first drag!!!!!!
I did. Last night. Only one - but it was enough
to make me feel HORRIBLE today. Physically, emotionally,
you name it - I feel HORRIBLE. And you know what?
I can't take it back.
But I can learn from it. I can post to others who are
thinking about it and tell them STOP. DON'T DO IT.
It is not worth it.
Stay strong. Stay quit. You are worth it. You deserve
good health and happiness.
Wish someone had said that to me yesterday.
Cheers,
Skidoo

Thank You!
I'm still here, bought the cigarettes, but I didn't smoke them.
I have been fighting for this craving for more than a week and I am sooo tired of it.
I don't want this anymore...and I hate to say that the Nicodeman is still alive...
Love to you All !!
