Hi Garethy! I'm close - quit date Jan. 29, and its hard to believe but I'm closing in on 30 days! Yay! How've you been doing so far? Some days are ok for me, and some are not as ok, but I'm hanging in. I just don't want to be an ADDICT anymore! We can do it! This site has helped so much, just reading how others in our situations handle things, and watching people reach new milestones everyday - its inspiring! :) Good luck!

Hi garethy:
Luckily for me I had really no withdrawals the only ones where: I was a little spacey for the first two days and have been tired since. Not exhausted really just need a lot of sleep.
No Hell Week. No Heck Week. Cravings (Pangs) were worse for me during Blah Week. Thank goodness that is over!
I still have some light cravings every now and then but they keep diminishing. I can actually go several hours now without thinking of smoking or quitting smoking at all.
It really is soooooo awwesome that we have gone this long. I intend to never ever allow myself to fall into that trap again.
Keep up the good work! Let's keep each other updated.

Abletobreath...Hang in there! We have all had that feeling of "What do I do now?" We smoked for so long and we smoked when we were bored, happy, sad, mad, lonely, scared, any time, all the time....so it is a big adjustment in our lifes. You are adjusting and learning how to be a non smoker.....
I promise, promise, promise.....It's a great feeling and you are gonna love it....Just stay strong!
Brenna

able,
This is where your coping mechanisms will come to help! Make a list of items that will distract you and keep you quit. Straws, water, gum and hard candy can help in coping with craves.
Exercise, reading, and cleaning can keep you occupied and help you through.
Keep Strong,
Josie
