REWARDS!!!!!! I'm well into day 4 and had to share a reward I recieved this morning with you all. Bare with me as with in my real life I TALK TOO MUCH AND SOME MAY ACTUALLY TELL ME THAT I HAVE VERBAL DIARRHEA! :p I'm not Korean but have a sweet 15 year old Korean Girl named Melanie(not her birth name but is her leagal name now)living with my family since October 2006 and she unfortunately will only be here till the end of June this year. I Love the way she says my real name and this morning, she pops in 2 eggo waffels in the toaster which she loves to eat and the morning routine around here is going on the same as usual. I was at one point over at my diningroom table putting something in a lunch container when Melanie comes up to me with the 2 eggo waffels on a plate BUT GET THIS, she had the two waffels cut into heart shapes and she said that they were for me and she told me she loved me and was so proud of me for quitting smoking. We hugged each other and I thanked her. WHAT A REWARD. NO she isn't my child and no my own children have not said anything positive about my quitting smoking or have done anything and I don't expect them to say or do anything for me BUT when out of the blue a sweet child like Melanie goes out of her way to give me this little REWARD, it sure touches ones heart and it sure will be making me give this quit my all today, I can't imagine the look on Melanie's face if I started back again. She wants me to so badly help her father quit but I don't feel like I have it in me to help him out right now and I have tried to explain the reasons why to her. I will be driving Melanie and my oldest daughter to Toronto today after school and believe it or not will be meeting Melanie's father for the first time.(long story). He owns a private school and I know I will be slipping him the address of this site....tee hee. Here's hoping he joins. His name is John and no he's not Korean(not that that would matter). So small rewards are GREAT and sure made my day. Pray for me to keep smoke-free today. Also this will be the first time that I will be driving a long distance over 3 hours drive without the cigarettes hanging out of my mouth!!!! I Can do IT, I know I can!!!! Do any folks on here, have a reward they would like to share too???? I should also

Hi 3galeh, First I will be published as a full page in a magazine and then I will be working with the help of Phil Callaway, to write a book. I always have heard of the saying, it's who you know in this world, that gets you things and never understood it until now. If it were not for Melanie's step Father knowing Phil, I would have never, ever heard of this man, yet because of the connections, I will be blessed to work with Phil. It just blows me away!!!!! I have no idea how long it will take for the book to be written etc.....but I will do a plug for myself on here and let you all know what the book is called and author's name when that time comes. Anywho, I must get going here once again, but have decided to join the stop smoking forum for Christians only. Please, know that I do think this forum is GREAT and so are the members on here but sharing more of life with the other Christians on the other site, gives me more of what I'm looking for. The site is not public and has 2 volunteer Ministers running it. I don't feel I have time to be involved with more than one site right now. I will however, stop by and say hello and update about myself every now and then. Keep up the great quits, and keep the faith. Love Christian Girl :)

Thank-you Melanie, Christine and 3galeh!!!! Made it home safe and sound and did not smoke...................wooo hoooo!!!!! to me! I felt like Will Smith in the show "Fresh Prince Of Belair"......LOL. I'm just your average person and when I get there to meet her Dad(her step father to be correct), I felt uncomfortable as he is sooooooooooooo rich!!!He makes it obvious to me about how rich he is. Starts telling me about all the things he's done and where he's been etc...... Even goes as far as telling me that he would like it if my daughter who will be 15 next month would like to come to his private school for free as his way of saying thanks for all I have done for him. I was taken back........by this man and was for at least an hour very uncomfotable to be in his presence. I felt myself thinking about what to say to him, what could I possibly say to him that would impress him. I'm not rich, have been away a bit etc. etc. Then a BRIGHT LIGHT came on and I'm ever so glad it did. I just decided to be myself. I told him about quitting smoking about my new found salvation and many many other stories. His reaction was one of which I did not expect. He was overwhelmed with me. He couldn't get enough of "ME". All he wanted to do was talk and talk and asked sooo many questions. It's not something I can really explain the way I want in writing but to put in terms, this man has a lot missing from his life and he really believes that I can help HIM in a few areas of his life. ME, a once lost child myself. One thing led to another and sooo many good things are now in the works because of it. I have be overly blessed again and can't tell you how HAPPY I AM!!!!! I'm one of those people who had a father but grew up without one and all my life, I've always been attracted to older men. I LOVE hearing stories from them, how it was when they raised their children, how they worked, how times have changed etc. A lot of people find older people boring but NOT I. I thrive on the stories that come from the elders. I also want to tell so many stories of my own blessings and MIRICLES that have entered my life and I finally get to do so. I'm BEING PUBLISHED!!!!!!!!! YES a dream come true for me. I also will be working with a man I had never even heard of before until lastnight. His name

Christian Gal, I have to ask - Is your 15 year old adopted? I kinda got lost. (I have two adopted.) I love that your child showered you with love as you do need it in these first days of the quit! Truthfully, any of your children could have done it - God just used her at that moment. :) Kids are great that way - you never know when they are going to give you that little flower that gets you past a bad moment. I am glad your trip was good. BTW - isn't it great that God has more $ than man anyway and His stories can really bring ALL people together. :) Congrats on the quit!
