Wellbutrin

Hon the best advice on this is by asking the doc who prescribed the Wellbutrin to you. In the mean time drink lot's of water. When you start noticing the craving grab the water. Start doing something to take your mind off of the craving. Someone suggested putting a rubberband on my wrist and snap it everytime I had a craving and it works! Good luck. Alexa, I stopped taking the drug after 3 weeks just as you did and it turned out to be just fine. It was a little hard to get used to, but I know you can do it. Just try to remember that you do not need wellbutrin to quit smoking, you have already did that. You just need to believe in yourself! Just remember that we are proud of your quit, and that everybody ooves a quitter!!! This could be due to the 30 day hump... a little bit late. Keep that in mind and reward yourself well for this achievement! Crave the Quit! Hi, Alexa. You should talk to your doctor first, of course, but I expect you could start the Wellbutrin again if you feel you must. But this is something you will eventually have to face and get through, so why not do it now and get it over with? Rip the bandage off instead of doing it slowly. Have you been rewarding yourself over the last six weeks? That would probably go the farthest in helping you over this hump. Rewards can be as cheap or expensive as you want to make them. The only real requirement is that they make you happy. Hang in there, Alexa. Congratulations on 38 awesome smoke-free days. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 329 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,590 Amount Saved: $1250.2 Life Gained: Days: 61 Hrs: 10 Mins: 17 Seconds: 52

Alexa, You should discuss this with your doctor and pharmacist. They have a world of knowledge regarding dosages and side effects. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
