Mickey, Stay strong. Right now you may feel as if you are on an emotional rollercoaster. Your body is in the process of healing itself, your hormones are out of balance, it may take sometime before you feel 'normal' again. Stay close to the site and post whenever needed. We are all here for you. Take Care, Melanie ________________________ The SSC Support Team

flygirl, Welcome to the site and congratulations on becoming an ex-smoker! It is great to hear that you are ready to quit! The question is are you prepared? Please take advantage of our free Online Treatment Program in your glove compartment as you log into our site. This program will first help you determine if youre ready to quit. If youve already quit and are looking for some help, this program is for you. Although the program will first assess if youre ready to quit the exercises at the beginning of the program will help remind you of the reasons why you quit in the first place. Dont get frustrated - ex-smokers have told us that the exercises at the beginning of the program gave them confidence and helped them reaffirm their personal commitment to remain smoke free. The exercises in this program are divided into six major milestones. Think of each milestone as a destination youre trying to reach. After you complete the exercises in each milestone, your car will progress along the road map located at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. The best thing about this program is that it is free and you dont have to purchase any products to use this program. We hope that we have guided you in the right direction today! Please feel free to contact our support department in our feedback section found at the bottom of this page if you continue to have any questions or concerns. Or, please continue to join us here at our online support group! We wish you all the best and look forward to helping you achieve your goals! Take Care, Melanie _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Dear Micky and all, I am still crying. I thought it was at first because I felt I had lost my best friend (not!!). Then I was thinking about it and I know for me and maybe it is for you too, that as smokers we would us that as a means of surpressing and stuffing our true feelings. maybe now that we are not suffocating our emotions in smoke and nicotine they still need to come through. Just like water behind the damn. Just a thought Cry all you need to and cry some more Keep up the good fight sft My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 177 Amount Saved: $39.12 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 20 Mins: 8 Seconds: 38

I cried a whole bunch in the beginning. I was mad at everyone and everything. It took some time and alot of determination but here I am, proof that good things come to those who wait. Be patient, drink lots of water, read and post on this site ALOT and you will be a non-smoker before you know it! Remember...this too shall pass. Celebrate every moment you are smoke-free!! N.O.P.E.
