grey wolf,
You are doing great! Look at you 11 days,326 cigs that you haven't smoked. You should be very proud of that.
Continuing to have the urge to smoke on occasion is normal. Some times they are light and at others times they are fierce. But please keep in your mind, that at this point the physical addiction is over and what is left is a mind game between you and OLD NIC. He is a tricky opponent and will use every thing he knows about you to convince you that you can't do this. His main purpose is to keep you locked into the cig manufacturers product. He is loathsome, and nasty and he even cheats. He will use your spouse, your friends, your family, even strangers to try to get you back. But he can no longer make you smoke, you have broken the physical hold. Now it's time to boot him to the curb. You must take charge of your mind and let it know that you are through with smoking. That it is no longer an option in your life. And you must believe it yourself. Keep saying it until you do. When thoughts first come to your mind, shut them off quick. Let them know right up front that you are not having any. I and many others have found that if you continue to entertain thoughts that you might be willing to smoke even if you don't spell it out, then the cravings come harder and more frequantly until you close them off. So save yourself some trouble and start doing it now. "NO thank you, I don't smoke". I don't want to smoke, I will not smoke...
See how many ways you can say it. Practice often. It will help.
