day timers, sticky notes, reminders via cell phone... i have to use them all, every day. i spend a lot of time using these things, writing things down, making lists, anything to help my memory especially for work. in my particular job we use a lot of forms- i've made "cheat sheets" for most of them- i fill out a blank form with notes and comments in the margins so that i can refer to it if i forget what goes where, i've made master lists for other parts of my work (for example: new client file- lists all the paperwork that goes into into it, where it goes etc...) this way i don't have to go ask my supervisor 27 times how to do something.
I too have a hard time remembering some of the same details from my second childs earlier life that i recall from the first. i think part of it is "normal" second child syndrome- it'ok. it sucks though doesn't it?
i've actually forgotten about this site!! hopefully just cuz its still new to me- but yes, its true! thankfully it comes back to me!!! i really am beginning to feel a sense of community here, it feels incredible to have others understand me.
thanks Patrick for the wonderful post! you are beautiful as well!!
