Thank you for your kind replies. Sorry about my bad manners, taking so long.
I started the mood tracker and noticed that stomach problems, being in the house all day, and family squabbles all make things worse. We've dusted the house and that made things very much better. I've also become vigilant about eating a better diet, with no gluten, MSG, or hot spices. And I'm trying to do exercise (stairs, walking the dog) as well as meditation every day. After 4 weeks, I'm having only a few bad days--which is a huge improvement.
