My advice is to quit NOW.
Motivation does not come around all the time. You are in for a long ride, better to quit now and feel strong before your friends arrive.
When they do come see you, watch them and instead of envying that they are smoking, realize that they are drug addicts, slaves to nicotine and they cannot enjoy themselves without it. Watch the smokers, how closely they huddle together when non-smokers are around. Watch how uncomfortable they are when they can't smoke. Look at how they do not feel confident when they remember they are holding a cig.
Be strong now. If you have the motivation to quit now, grasp it and go for it. Start this moment. Be a non-smoker.
I am so happy since I quit. I have my moments where I am angry and upset but smoking did not make those moments any easier. Now I smell better, I look better, my breath is fresher, my complexion is rosier, I can take deep breaths and I can relax all the time. I can hug my BF for hours and not have to get up to smoke.
