Susie,
I'm learning that too.
I think after you get a couple of weeks behind you.... you start to realize that you are doing things like you use too without cigarettes...and ENJOYING IT.
Yes.. there still are those quick thoughts that creep up..but it gets more and more doeable. Espcially if you keep positive..(like you are)

:)...and so the journey goes. Bit by bit you're able to do things without smoking. If someone had told me that in the first day or two of my quit, I would NEVER have believed it. But now I'm living it, and so are you.
You're doing sooo well susie, one day at a time.
Keep that quit going strong!!!!
Cheers, Jan

Started to feel better yesterday and thankfully its continued into today. It's more of a faint itch today. No worries....won't scratch. Isn't it odd how it comes and goes? Can't say I have got to the point of forgetting even for a few minutes. That would be sooooooo nice.A bit like hearing a car alarm way off in the distance and then it stops! Lovely. I am positive that time will come. Still I know that I will always be addicted and that it's only a puff away. However my mind is now able to understand that it does nothing for me or anyone else. I can relax without a ciggie. I can be stressed without a ciggie. I can enjoy tea or coffee without a ciggie. I can enjoy life without a ciggie and so on. I don't think I truly believed that before. So here's to another smoke free day.....Love to all :)

Hi Susie
Can I join you in that - here's to another beautiful smoke free day.
Congratulations on 26 days and I'm delighted that it's getting easier. It will continue to do so though the gremlin may raise it's head once in a while again. I know mine certainly does. You have good awareness though and you'll be fine.
Lets keep on gaining and stay smoke free.
All the very best
Sharon
