My suggestion, now that it's warmer, is to just get out there and do something. Looking around at the mall is always nice for me. We have a puppy shop there and i love going there to look at them bouncing around. Many places like that allow you to take them out for a bit and into a "playplace" so you can spend a little time with them. I would not suggest a pound unless you are serious about adoption. They can be depressing.
Grab a coffee with an old friend. Feels good to catch up.
It's always nice to take the local bus somewhere you don't normally go and get just lost for a bit. Just bring a bus schedule with you so you don't get lost too long!! It shouldn't cost you more than $1.50.
If you live in a place that has a community pool, sun bathe there. Swimming may be too much if you have no energy, but it takes little to simply tan. Plus, it's usually nice to hear the kids splashing around, having a good time. And how can you not chuckle when you hear a mom yell "If you dunk your brother one more time, you're out of the pool!"???
from what I have read ...i t is common to experience more symptoms in the spring. Why? I have not found that yet... but I just wanted to let you know that you are ... emmm normal!
We are looking forward to getting to know you aswell! Its great that you are starting to work through the program. Stick with it! Does any members have any suggests on how to increase their mood over the summer months?
I am so happy I found this site. I have always been too nervous to go to face to face support groups so this seems perfect. I have been feeling pretty down in the dumps lately so I am hoping talking to all of you will help me a little. I don't know why but this summer weather is actually depressing me even more. Well anyways, I am sure I will get to know all of you more as I spend more time on the site. I just started working through the program and it is really great so far.
