I agree with Brenna that it would be a good idea for you to go out and meet people... you could get in touch with your Embassy/ Consulate and ask where your countryfolk gather near where you live....
Hello Anima,
Thanks for taking the time to write a short introduction of yourself.
Welcome to our support community! Take some time to look around the program and become familiar with all of the tools and resources that are available to you. The Cognitive Behaviour Program (16 weekly sessions) are a great place to start to learn about your depression and make some positive changes in your life.
What were your goals in going to Italy?
Have you had the opportunity to meet people and get out?
You also mentioned a relationship that you've been struggling with. What would you like to happen with this relationship? Where do you see it going? Please keep us posted.

I'm studying art in italy for the last 6 months but I'm from mexico. Recently I'm feeling more than lonely here, I barely speak with people, I don't get out from home even if I have too, as today for example. I'm feeling so tired, I don't even get hungry. I know being here was supposed to be wonderful, my studies and all, but it doesn't and I'm so far from home and friends and family. I can't stop crying now. I feel I need to finish what I've started but it seems a long way. My goal here is to find the strength to do it.
This had happened to me before, as I know I suffer from depression, but this time it's different and much more difficult. Plus, as it always happens, there's a relationship I've idealized and it's becoming very painful.
