Hi I am back.Went to my first C B T introduction today,found it very good,will take it further,hopefully will get to understand how my head works,and perhaps start to understand how my wife is feeling. It was a big step for me,but I feel it well worth it , even if I get to understand a little of whats going on .

Thanks for getting back,yes my wife is on medication ,she was having therapy but our private medical stopped paying and the N H S was not very good,no help at all.My wife seems a lot better , or she is coping with it much better,I have had a big problem dealing with it the right way,I have not been very good at seeing the signs,untill its too late.I have also started therapy,hope it opens my eyes,but have felt very on edge for the past months,worried that I say or do the wrong things.life a *****,then you die.

welcome colour! is your wife getting any sort of treatment for depression? whether it be medications, therapy etc... that could make a difference in how the two of you interact. are you willing to share more details? this is a safe place to share.

Hi Apart from having slight depression my self,My main worry is my wife who is very depressed,and my problem is dealing with it,at the start I was useless,after loads of nasty sceans ,I am a bit better at understanding what my wife is going through , but i keep getting things wrong.
