Lex,
No need to apologize! We thank you for sharing your story with us.
We encourage you to start working through our therapy program. There you'll begin keeping track of your thoughts, behaviors and moods. This will better prepare you to begin seeing what kind of patterns you exhibit. You'll also get a chance to begin working on the relationships you have with others in Session 11.
If you have any questions as you move through the program, post.
Danielle

Hi
My name is Alex and I have recently turned 21 years old. I have just returned to studying and everytime I do so I fall into deep depression and literally cannot do very much in my day-to-day life.
The last few days I have stayed at home, slept excessively, worried about homework and procrastinated even further, stayed in bed and refuse to talk to anyone that calls.
I've also come out of an exhausting relationship - which I am still dealing with, and am here to help me get back on track.
I have on many previous occasions fallen into depression for a few weeks and sometimes months at a time (and noticed how it always happens when I study - I have started and stopped studying at five different universities) and have taken a few counselling sessions at uni but never have had anything else (can't afford it!)
My mother and sister have both had depression and had professional help, but I have always felt it was a private matter and I would not feel comfortable asking for their assistance.
I hope I find much assistance here!
NB. I do apologise for the long post.
