Hi, Cody,l and welcome to the place to talk it out. We all have various stages of panic disorder, and from all different causes. There are many causes for this "thing". Sometimes a trauma can cause it, and like me, I was born with it. heredity, I think they call that. I also has a traumatic experience or three that caused more severe symptoms.
Luckily for me, I had a doctor who recognized this in me, and medicated me fo rit. Later I was in a car wreck and went fo rsurgery and saw the "shrink". He is a PhD with th esame back problems I have. So he has great empathy in my case. he treated me successfully, for a driving phobia, which I also got from the wreck.
I have a good workbook at home, full of exercises, take meds, and have myself under control. It did take some time, and I dedicated the time to work on myself. Noone can do this for you. You have to do it for yourself.
The first thing I would do, is to take the Anxeity Test offered at this site. I would then print it out and take it to my doctor. The test is a tool.a very useful tool to help your physician diagnose your problem, thus allowing for better, faster treatment fo ryou.
help is out there..please go for it.
These symptoms will not go away by themselves. You will have to do some introspection, and work at isolating when it happens, and then maybe the why will be evident to you and your doctor.
Please take this opportunity to help yourself.
We are here for you..we will support you..you can confide in us. We are all working on ourselves here at this site..
Hope to hear from you soon.
