I am uninsured.I went to the doctor several times last year and I am still paying off the bills.
I don't want to rack up the bills again because I know I can't take the medication they give me. SSRI's make me so much worse and they don't understand that. They just try to get me to try pill after pill. Then I spend more and more money.
I should be starting a new job in June with insurance. Maybe I will be able to find a better doctor then.
I even went to a doctor that acted like I was some kind of druggie because I asked for xanax because I knew they helped another time when the emergency room prescribed them. I know they are a street drug but I certainly don't get a high from them. They even give me energy because I don't use up all of my energy freaking out. I actually still have some but I am scared to take them because of drug tests at work and my prescription is out dated.

What are you currently doing? Have you spoken to your doctor? It might help if you take the free anxiety test and print out the results to take to your doctor's visit. That's the reason the test was designed. While it does not diagnose, it can give some clues to your doctor to help in his diagnosis.

I have been having panic and anxiety for a year now. I was not depressed. In fact I loved my life, even with the panic. Now it is a battle to live every day. I feel like I have nothing to look forward to anymore. Just panic. I have such a hard time getting out of the house. I went through the program and have restarted it to try it one more time. I hate the way my life has been shattered because of this.
