Omega 3 which is found in fish oils (in form of capsules) helps with anxiety and depression...I started taking them but stopped and will restart them once again...Hope this helps...
I'm also curious to hear what people can suggest in way of natural remedies... i know Saint-John Wort is not to be taken if you're on the pill or for an extended amount of time and that Kava Kava is dangerous for the liver (and now banned by Health Canada), i take herbal teas with Valerian root (but i also heard it's not good to take for too long), and/or Camomile, hops and scullcap... but frankly, it doesn't seem to do much for me.
I've been trying out some "natural" remedies for panic disorder, and was wondering if anyone has found something really helpful. I've done some reading and found that people with panic disorder can sometimes have deficiencies of the B vitamins as well as magnesium. I have been taking a B-complex vitamin and I think it has been helpful. I have been finding it a struggle to eat, because I feel sick to my stomach a lot, and have been losing a lot of weight. Does anyone have any natural remedies that have worked for them???
