I am almost done with my antiobotics. My monthly started yesterday, right at the Doctors office, I woke up this morning with horrible foot pain, its kind of swollen and its hard to walk, I hope its not from the antibotics, I do not want to call the MD back since I have bothered him and been there twice, I hope its not related to the Levaquin I took last week or now the Macrobid, I did read on the internet that Levaquin can cause "spontantous rupture of foot tendons" great, I am trying not to think its the antibotic, I only have 2 more dose left and I just want to get it over with, I did not twist or hurt it so it scares me, my feet are usually my "good" part and it hurts to walk, I am going to see how it is tomm, I just start thinking "rupture" or "blood clot" and my heavy painful monthly is not helping, I feel so sick and weak, physcially and emotionally its like everything at once, I just feel like going to bed for 2 days and not getting out. My husband is back with my son, they just went over his parents for the day but it upset me, I felt so sick and alone, I have this bad feeling I am not getting better like I should, the kidney infection and those horrible body aches and naseua were bad enough, now I have to deal with heavy bleeding and this darn foot! Has anyone ever heard of an antibotic causing rupture of foot tendons {archille's??} I did take the levaquin and that is a rare side effect, I hope its not a side effect of Macrobid!! I did not even worry about that till my foot started to hurt so bad, I did not even know that was a side effect!! That is so strange that an antiobotic can cause foot ruptures, its almost bizzare. I am praying to get better for my son, its terrible to feel like you are half-dead. I am trying to rest. I hope everyone is well and good. Any info on Macrobid I would be grateful for, I just want all this scary stuff in my body to stop. God bless, Debbie.
