Hang in there Gina...your mom will be fine...I know it is difficult for you and your family right now but you will get through this...My mother was also diagnosed with diabetes at a later stage in her life...she has high blood pressure, and has had many surgeries ranging form bladder to having a lump removed...you are so strong and from what you have said, your mother is also a very strong woman and a fighter....she will be just fine... How are you doing? Is the medication helping? I detest dentists so much....really bad experiences....I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and the surgeon has permenantly frozen my lower lip so I have no feeling there...:-( Since then, I have made a couple of attempts to go back to the dentist, but within 10 minutes I am out of there crying...so next time I told my dentist to put me 'under' so she could clean my teeth....I have so many 'wonderful' dentist stories... Sorry about the rambling....Just don't want to study...have this awful cold....:-( Post back and let me know how you are... B

Thanks Gina i am going well i have had 2 panic free days so that always makes me feel good.Your mom hasnt had a good run better days must be around the corner for her i will be praying for her ok how is your mouth i had 2 wisdom taken out last year and it was so painful after the anasthetic wore off i was also breastfeeding so i couldnt take strong pain relief either i was suppose to go back 6 months ago for the other 2 to be removed but i havnt worked up the courage yet dentists scare me :8o: Lulu..

lu lu, i have a daughter who is eight . i will pray for your son. my mom didnt get her diabetes intil late in her life. she is a mess. she has had a brain tumor, been in a coma twice from meningitious{sorry spelling},diabetes and now her kidneys. she is raiseing my 6 cousins also. my uncle died of lung cancer and there mom is on drugs.the kids range from 9 to 15. i help with the kids as much as posible. how are you feeling? gina

Hi Gina i understand your concerns with your mom and her diabetes my 9 year old son has insulin dependant diabetes and im forever worrying about his quality of life he has had it almost 4 years and so far he has been pretty healthy.Goodluck :) Lulu..

Gina, I am glad to hear that you are okay....try to rest as much as possible...about the pain, not sure...I think sleeping helps a lot... How is your mom doing? Hang in there... B

Gina, How are you feeling? I hope the pain has eased, I am praying for you, I would of posted earlier but I had to go to the ER last night, I will tell you more about it when you are feeling better I do not want to worry you now after your procedure, I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago, the bleeding and pain will stop. my mom has to go to a kidney specialist. they think its her kidneys.i goggled it last night. i pray its wrong but she has the signs of kidney diease. from her diabetes. prayers please gina

Gina, Its painful getting a tooth removed so im glad to hear you're feeling better :) as for the sore tongue maybe the tooth was on a nerve or maybe it was another anxiety symptom because you were worried about getting the tooth out??One of lifes little mysteries i suppose anyhow goodluck. Lulu..
