Hi Boots,
Yes the feeling will go away. I know what you're talking about with your husband making it seem easier. My wife and I quit within 1 day of each other, and she's had a much rougher time of it then I have. We both quit cold turkey. She still has the times when she wants a smoke, but these times are coming farther and farther apart.
Hang in there..you're doing great!
Ron

Strangely enough I found the first two weeks of my quit the easiest. As I 'm nearing almost soooo close to 100 days I'm totally loosing it. I quit Champix last Friday so a week ago and I've had probably one of the most stressful weeks of work .. go figure. I haven't smoked but man if I had one even near to me this week I would have! These past few days I am back to constantly thinking about cigarettes. I've read posts ..taken a relaxing bath , tried to read ...but nothing seems to be doing it. Its frustrating cause my hubby and I quit and also one of my friends and it seems so easy for them so lookin at them just makes me more frustrated not at them but at myself. I just have to know that this does go away.. I know we all don't have the same quit but please someone tells me that this feeling does go away .. 4 months , 5 maybe 6 .. do you ever feel normal ? Right now I'm soooo close to loosing it and I don't know how to stop it !
