Yaaahooo for "new" eyeballs! I can only wear them a couple hours a day for the first week, but it's really clear for reading on the computer, especially. Reading a book is not so good yet, and I can't see the print on my phone, but they SAY we can do ADJUSTMENTS.... It's a funny reward, but I never would have spent the money on myself if I'd still been smoking, so I guess it's growth, in a way. Thank you to each and every one of you who responded to my 100 days! It means a lot to me to celebrate with all of you. Why I have not been here much: I have been very busy with getting school set up - financial aid, student loans, scholarships, and I started tonight with orientation, so I figure I might graduate with a doctorate before I am 60, maybe. But, my 100 day reward is finally ready! I am getting contact lenses tomorrow! Yes, they are bifocal contacts, which are VERY new, and if they work (which they keep telling me they will), I will not have to have one pair of glasses just for reading, one cheater pair for the 'puter, a bifocal pair of sunglasses, and a bifocal work pair, then try to keep track of them all... So, my "money saved" has added up to something wonderful! I will keep you in the loop when I get home tomorrow. I hope to be using my "new eyes"! Now I just have to get the kind that can change the color of my eyes, and I'll be a fashion statement! Hahahahaha NOT!
