Oh yes Lainey, there is definitely some discomfort
but it's under control so far. I found that as the day
progressed I was getting a little jittery and a little more
impatient. I immediately took care of those feelings (which
came often, right up to the time when I went to bed) by doing
a lot of my breathing exercises, drinking lots of cold water
and reminding myself OFTEN that these 'feelings' WILL pass !
Way to go AZ you are doing GREAT ! ! !
And Lainey, your stats are SOOO fabulous ! !
O.k.. well onto another day.. another SMOKE FREE DAY ! ;)
Peace :p

Wow, everyone is stepping down and down. Just be aware that you may have 2 or 3 days of discomfort as you get used to the new levels.
You are all a great bunch of quitters! :)

Yes Danielle, that's what the pharmacist said..
the period of adjustment. I figure it this way - IF it's just
too soon then I'll do one more week at the 21 mg. But so far it
seems o.k. :)
Thanks for the encouragement Jan ! And congrats to you stepping
down ! Your stats are awesome girl ;)
I'm feeling just a touch antsy so I'm going to keep busy. I've
got all the fixin's ready for a big potato salad and then I'm
all ready to settle in and watch my Blue Jay's play ball !

When I started this stop smoking journey I decided
that when I reached my 1st milestone - one whole month smoke
free, I would step down with the patches. So, yesterday marked
one full month and today I stepped down to the 14 mg. patch !
I will be doing that with the 7 mg. on May 5th. I'm not
following the program exactly the way they suggest to do it.
Wish me luck everyone... So far so good :)
Hoping everyone is having a wonderful smoke free weekend !
