To all the wonderful quitters,
Your response has been over whelming to say the least. I never looked as myself as a Hall of Fame material, but some of you did, thank you. I showed my husband the posts and he really laughed at some, like Aunt Agnes he thought it was a real person, LOL and the dancing cats and Bear, no I can not imagine a bear in a thong. It is the first time I let him see my world of wonderful quitters. Now he understands why I feel so strongly about this site. He saw all of the wonderful quitters and all the places we live. He thanks you as well. He quit 5 years ago when I trying to quit. He put them down and never looked back, but he never judge me. He only offered his support.
Coming here I found some amazing quitters. Because of the support, humor and the everyday caring I kept coming back until I got it right. There have been some that have left the sight, but their help has not left my heart. There are some that I have regular contact with and that is a good thing. Some I have had the privilege to meet. My wish is someday I will get to meet some more of you amazing quitters. I dont know why, but for me there is accountability to this site. There are many here that have given so much to others and me.
There was and still is a special group that was here when I began my journey here on SSC as there is a special group for each of you. I am not trying to single out some and forgetting others, but these people kept me in the fight. I want to thank Rusty, Windy, Gonna Do It, Penguin, Jan 58, Phil, Marie, Cheermom and Katrina from Greece (my first quit buddy). This group kept me coming back and I am so very grateful for them as I am with my new friends.
The best advice I ever got and I do have to share this no matter how often you have seen me write it, never give up quitting, one day your quit will happen.
