ICL, try cold water in a nozzly thing & a coffee straw instead of tea & a smoke, and have your conversation in a different room than you usually do.
The motions are the same, running water, holding something between your fingers, going to your mouth, sipping, etc.
That's what you're really missing, the routine.
If you must have the tea, have it in a different cup, try a different kind of tea, leave out the sugar, whatever makes it different to you.
The junkie is persistent, but she isn't that smart. You can fool her pretty easily.
