How do you spell the sound of a fart?? I think it is
"FFFFllloooppuwhoop". Of course that depends on the type and length.
come on gang - you know you're thinking about it. We definitely need a fart thread, or perhaps at least a spelling match.

Well, Anna, maybe your husband doesn't enjoy them as much as you do. His mood might improve if you were to excuse yourself to another room to have your "giggle". Maybe is all.
See you at the bonfire tomorrow, bring your husband!

I happen to enjoy them, they make me giggle.
Not much giggling going on in this house tonight. My husband is in a bad mood.
Where is that bonfire when I need it? Why is it when I get mad at him I crave??? (maybe that is another thread)
Now back to the farting.....

Jacqui,
Not just you. As a result of your quit, your gut has slowed down. Your food stays in that gut for longer and subsequently produces more gas.
Avoiding foods that cause gas is a good starting point. You can also consult your pharmacist regarding over the counter treatments.
