New me, I'm sorry you feel crappy. You know you don't want a smoke, you don't know what you want so the junkie jumps in & figures she can get you to believe that's what you want. There is NO WAY I will see a Mayflowere blow a 114 day quit over a little weepiness. NO WAY, we are far tougher than that!
You want to feel BETTER, a smoke will not do that. What will?
A bath? A walk? A movie? A book? A new little pretty something? A long phone conversation with an old friend? Going through old
photo albums? Your favourite music? Whatever you like to do, do it, do something that really will make you feel better & make you glad you don't smoke.'
If you feel weepy, maybe you're sad & you need to cry! So cry, get that out of you & then still do something you like to do because you aren't going to smoke & that deserves a reward.
You have struggled for your 114 days, newme, & I think it might be partly becasue you don't reward yourself enough. It's very important to re-train your brain to see other things besides nicotine as rewards. Maybe you don't do that enough?
Do it tonight, do it now, & keep doing it.
Please check back in & let us know how you're doing. Please do something nice for yourself!
