Hi all my Buddies! I am home, safe & sound (Thanks Hubby who did the lion's share of the driving - 4700km). We left Victoria, went across on the ferry to Vancouver, then went homeward bound through Kamloops, Edmonton, Lloyminister and home. Celebrated our Anniversary on the road, so at Kamloops, so we splurged on a jacuzzi room and a lobster supper. Then on to stop at Edmonton overnight and then home.
To Quote Dorothy, "There's no place like home!"
Our little Grandson was very excited to see us, as were we to see him!
My cat has not left my side since we got home. She must have been pretty lonely.
One thing I noticed, I didn't see very many smokers on this trip. You expect to see a few outside each place having a smoke, but I only saw one or two, here and there.
I had the odd craving, but nothing that was too nasty.
Glad to back, missed you guys alot!
We have a staff party tomorrow out of town so just have time to do laundry and go again. It's only one night though so we'll be home Sunday around noon or so.
Am NOT looking forward to going back to work Monday, but my bank account is in severe pain now so I guess them's the consequences>
Unhooked, my son will be here today so we will be getting those pictures ready to send to you!
AAAAHHHHH Home! :)
