Fear Less, that was insightful and deeply touching. I think we're harmonizing a very lovely tune about life, love and self-respect.
"by whatever name you put on the force that gives it to us."
You are spot-on with your thoughts on the general message being the same at it's heart. I feel the very same way and have for years.
Have you seen Ridley Scott film "The Kingdom of Heaven?" If not, I highly recommend it.

Hi Fear Less,
Awesome post! It's important for us to have a reminder like that in our quit arsenal, weapons against the demon.
Thank you, by the way for the uber-respectful warning of religious content. I'm pagan, and NOT offended. :) My personal understanding of GOD is different, but I do have one, so GOD bless you all the same.
Strangely, it could be interpreted that we are all possessed as smokers, quitting is excorcism and remaining quit is devotion to the divine spark within each of us.
And, for no reason known to me, I just welled up in tears. :|
