I needed those pics of the lungs, Phil. Thanks. It's day 29 and last night was hard. Like you, I went cold turkey after a pack a day for 40 years. Now that the first three weeks are over, I can see that I've got to embrace the quit in new ways, somehow. The hardest hour is always after work upon getting home. If I can distract myself then, by going out mostly, I'm fine, but if I hang at home and mope/resist with a glass of wine, I'm in for a torturous night.
I'm going to wear something pink today, I think, to remind me of new lung cells. . .
