Hi everyone. As many of you know I've been struggling with my quit for about six weeks now. I've had a good 2 weeks then had a "slip" yesterday.
So I sat myself down and asked honestly, "What's going on?" I want to be smoke free more than anything. NO MORE SLIPS!
So today with my patch on and still taking my Zyban, I have re-committed myself to my quit. For me that means plenty of cold water in the fridge, deep breathing, relaxation time, etc. I'm just on my way out with a shopping list of different things to help me.
I know how easy it is to get down over a relapse, but I'm hoping I've learned from this, big time. I feel very grateful to have rallied back from this and not to have kept smoking.
So, as I am committed to helping others, I am also committed to helping myself.
Please bear with me, guys, as I try to be honest with myself and take this worthwhile journey "one crave at a time".
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Jan :)
