Way to stare the nicodemon in the face and not blink 1st.
Consider this one winning battle. Each battle you win eventually becomes an overall victory.

Way to go Unhooked,
In past quits, that would have sent me into the "just one" excuse. I would have had one with the co worker, discussed work related issues (to make that smoke time seem productive), and then probably visited his office everyday to bum a couple smokes for the next week, until i finally went and bought a pack myself. And the vicious cycle would have begun again. You are at a great place in your quit. That was a big hurdle and you sailed over it with your normal grace.

You are so awesome Unhooked! I'm proud to know and inspired by you. A pack of smokes and lighter sitting on a table or desk is a strong trigger. It's like a billboard advertisement along with some kind of strange nicodemon voodoo. But you have the power and your defenses are strong.

Great job!.....no really......GREAT JOB.
Eacht time you win in those situations ....the stronger and more in-controll person you become.
What is even more amazing.. I am starting to believe what people say.
That if I can master and control this.... then... sky is the limit in making other changes in my life.
Your stats are really growing.

Unhooked,
You are doing wonderfully.
I just got through a couple of days of hosting some smokers, drinks and all. Made it through. Each time we make it through at scenario I think the next time is much easier. So I look at these situations as opportunities to put a scenario in my back pocket.
Stay tough and as close as you have been. We'll be here for you!

You've got the right stuff going there. It does "seem" tempting, but the reality is that its just god awful smoke in your lungs. They could not have invented a more inefficient, harmful drug delivery system if they tried.
Your doing an excellent job. Its not easy, but the result will be well worth the trouble...
