The money motivates me for sure! Some of you might remember, I was going really cautiously, doing the whole pre-quit program & hadn't even set my quit date yet when I went for smokes & they were $12.07. I set my quit date right smartly after that. I smoked something just less than a pack a day, average. That's serious money in a month! Plus it just really pissed me off that there are so many things that just cost what they cost & I have to pay it, like gas, groceries, etc. & there I was paying over $200 a month to commit slow suicide. I finally saw myself for the addict that I am, no different than the panhandlers downtown who would rather have a fix than a meal.
