Hi Mylast
I just came back from a vacation and was worried about that too..mainly about old but familiar triggers I hadn't encountered yet. I printed out a whole list of self-talk things and kept them in my purse. Also a fake cig thing to chew on. Only once did I almost cave. At a bar/restaurant where I'd been before when I was a smoker. But, I didn't. I got out my list, and it helped remind me that I wasn't a smoker anymore.
Funny about smoke for me. Sometimes I just love the smell of a newly lit cigarette, sometimes I don't mind it. But, I noticed on that trip that it would make me cough. I haven't been to Vegas for a while, so don't know what the smoking policies are now, but I know it used to be very smoky there. I think the main thing is, prepare yourself, as Lainey said. What will you do if you feel like smoking? Good you're going with non-smokers. Maybe they can help bring you back to your senses if need be?
No matter what, have fun and NOPE!
