Glad you are Hopeful...I had serious vision problems after years of taking meds., however I'm not sure if they were really med related or not, but my inner sense told me they were. I got Intra-cranial Hypertension; they say they do not know what causes it, but that if you loose weight, (which was hard for me to do on meds. because they caused my weight to go up); but too much spinal fluid is produced and enters the brain, and causes pressure on the back of the eye, which in turn can cause bleeding in the eye, which in turn causes floaters, or black spots floating across your vision. There are other causes for floaters however, and sometimes they are inherited reasons. But if you see black spots, go directly to an optometrist; a good one will be able to look inside your eye and see if there is a problem. Then they will send you on to a specialist if there is a problem. As for the weight connection; I do not believe it is true, because, after taking medications for the eye problem as well as continuing the other meds., I gained more weight, but the eye problem went into remission by itself....the body is a strange thing....
