Robb, 1st of all.. congrats on your 17 days smoke free! Keep strong! 2nd of all.. you said >>
I'm prob gonna vent a bit and ramble on so pardon me in advance.
This is what this site is for, venting, rambling, etc.. I learned that the hard way. I lost my 66 days because I didn't come here in crucial moments and you never have to apologize! You're doing so well.. Very proud of you :) Monica58 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 48 Amount Saved: $18 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 24 Seconds: 34

I was SO THERE -- didn't think the feeling of lunacy would ever go away, but it really does. Each crave is less severe than the one that preceded it. The trick is to remember how awful the early stages of the quit are, so that we're never tempted to take that one puff that will plunge us back into full-scale smokerdom. You can do this --- peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 65 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,279 Amount Saved: $357.5 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 23 Mins: 26 Seconds: 57

You and Wendi have done so well. This is a terrible addiction and it IS one of the hardest things that you will ever do! No wonder you are tired - Take care of yourself, get lots of rest...better days are ahead! well Robb, they say nicotine is more addictive and harder to quit than heroin....we all must be strong not to be in that fetal position don't you think? Rob, Key point after your 17 days and by the way that is a terrific quit, you said "I don't want to smoke anymore". Great now say I don't need to smoke anymore. Also say I'm not smoking anymore" and keep on walking it seems to be doing you good because you haven't be smoking. It will get better. Rob47, The dreams are very common, they are temporary and they will pass. On another note, congratulations on three weeks! Time for a reward! Danielle _________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Robb - Sometimes it's really difficult to remain strong. Keep in mind, if it's worth having it - it's worth the fight. You must resolve to keep your quit and protect it no matter what. There will be good days and BAD days - like the one you're having now. My throat hurt and I got two colds (nasty) back to back at the start of my quit. Did I say, "OH see, I was better off a smoker?" NO, I said, thank God all this garbage is leaving my system. Hang in there... you will never have a regret ! Sending over some extra strength 4 Ya ~ CobenFan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 284 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,692 Amount Saved: $994 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 0 Mins: 13 Seconds: 58

robb, Thanks for sharing and congrats on 17 days! Take some time to yourself and have that day where you lie in bed all day! Pamper and treat yourself and know this is the best choice you ever made! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
